Stringers and rails

I got the stringers cut out.  We're using select pine for this.  That's probably not the best wood  but it's easily available and has no knots.  We ran it thru the planer to get the rails down to 1/2 inch.  The stringers came out to 1x5/8.  I used my table top sander to make the scarfs.  Everything is now 12 feet long.
